GURU RATING: 3 / 5 (ADEQUATE)
Aziz Kristof (a.k.a. Anadi) is a Polish guru known for his teachings (in English) about the various states of spiritual enlightenment or consciousness. His expression veers on the intellectual but resonates with a distinct poetic quality that points to his self-realization.
As with many spiritual gurus, Aziz experienced a glimpse of his true nature in childhood. This propelled him forward. His journey took him to Korea and India.
Aziz has a special affinity for the Advaita teachings, though he is never shy to critique them when they go astray or are misinterpreted. For instance, he correctly reproaches certain Advaita teachers for not emphasizing, or even discouraging, spiritual practices. Refreshing.
The journey to wholeness
The spiritual enlightenment process, according to Anadi, is essentially the evolution of consciousness.
For instance, an animal that cultivates an ego, if that was possible, could be considered spiritually enlightened relative to its previous state of consciousness. The same holds true for people.
Aziz breaks down humanity’s evolution of consciousness into three distinct phases: enlightenment to the State of Presence, enlightenment to the State of Being, and enlightenment to the State of the Heart.
Challenge of expressing the ultimate
Is Aziz spiritually enlightened? Undoubtedly. His teachings are not for every seeker, however. Different paths exists for different types of people.
You will greatly appreciate his work if you can keep up with his writing style, which is complex, and if you have the capacity to appreciate the poetry of life.
Without the former, it may prove difficult to comprehend what he is actually saying. That’s a common criticism. Without the latter, his writing will come across as spiritual mumbo-jumbo. He’s not for everyone, but he’s certainly for some.
One imagines that these constraints would fall away were one to meet with him directly. He offers spiritual retreats that include intensive sitting and walking meditation as well as personal one-on-one meetings with him. If his writings appeal to you, don’t miss out on the opportunity.
“Beyond the turmoil of our phenomenal existence, beyond our insatiable search for happiness, lies hidden the great way, the inner way to our original state of wholeness and completion. Discovering the way, we finally realize the purpose of our creation and the meaning of our life on earth. Our true life as conscious existence dawns only the moment we awaken from the dream of the human mind and begin our journey into the heart of the self.” – Aziz Kristof
He’s really beautiful!
Obvious.
I had been a student of (Aziz and later) Anadi for more than 15 years. His teaching is profound, but he does not live what he speaks. There is too much that he is hiding. A website is in the process of being created. There has been too much psychological and sexual abuse of students.
That was the main reason ( abuses of students by Anadi) given by Rick Archer for removing Anadi’s BATGAP interview.
Sat, I am also interested in your perspective. I think the dialogue is important. On alleged abuse – you’ve made an unsubstantiated claim which is a disservice to everyone so I look forward to the website or clarification. I’m also curious about counterproductive psychological or neurological impacts Anadi’s teaching have had on others, since I know I’m not the only one who’s suffered unnecessarily.
Please see these videos for evidence of sexual harassment abuse. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChETyp_Jko6c57pubt4aE4Q His abuse has been going on for many years.
Sat
I would like to hear more about your experiences. You said you would be putting up a site?

He is a glorified sex addict…
What was your experience, Dreamer?

Anadi’s teaching is the best that has ever been given on this planet. It has such incredible precision that the entire Buddhist cannon could be thrown in the dustbin in favour of it, and the Upanishad’s as well.
This planet has never seen the kind of accuracy and comprehension that Anadi has given, if you were to see it … there just aren’t any other teachers well of course people make contributions, but he is at least 2 orders of magnitude above any other teacher that has ever lived.
And few students even expect or can handle direct and accurate instruction.
It is just not given to spiritual people, what they get is a few words, nice ideas and some vagueish description of practice.
Not so with Anadi, he knows exactly, conceptually in terms of the metaphysical structure of reality, and conceptually in terms of the stages of the path and the practical method, as well as countless other things involving subtle energies, working on several levels simultaneously and so on.
Orders of magnitude above another other teacher.
Today if you look him up you see the “teaching abuse” material by American girls who went to India, studied from him, many becoming realised by him, having sex with him, and then complaining about him.
But, okay, maybe there is a problem there, I am not saying there isn’t.
But if you study his type of teaching it is for very mature souls – can you not then decide if you want to have sex or not?
Anyway, his contribution has been so great that everything is forgivable.
But it seems that on this planet, in a few decades nobody will even know he ever existed.
And maybe in the future everyone will be wiped out by humans themselves.
Such a place, if this isn’t hell I don’t know what is.
I studied Anadi for many years, after 8 years of practice I was self-realized in the “State of Consciousness” and continue in other types of realizations unknown to the spiritual world.
This webpage might benefit being updated. Krzysztof Jerzy Strzelecki adopted the spiritual name ‘Aziz Kristof’ and also dropped it long ago (after he stopped teaching as Aziz in 2004) and long before the date of this article’s publication (2017) – upon his return in 2008, it had already been replaced by ‘Anadi’. Following the publications (2019 onwards) of real-name testimonials by former students of his, documentations of his informal private exchange with some students as well as group letters of his to all students, he removed his website again, changed the name of his teaching, and changed his own public alias again (2020) – the most recently known public name of Krzysztof Jerzy Strzelecki is Aadi.
Thank you, A-free. We count on comments from people who are closer to the gurus, like yourself, to keep us updated. However, we can add his new alias to the title.
Run!! This is a sociopathic personality with mental and emotional dissociations otherwise known as a narc. Any pain that people suffer at his hands is meaningless to Anadi. Who in their right mind would aggrandize their teaching to the merit of “the best on the planet”. Laughable. He actually tells female students he gets involved with that no man will care for them more deeply than he but is hateful and exploitative of women. Recognize red flags. It took some students years to realize what they were sponsoring. A psychologically corrosive and disturbed individual. First you get hooked by a “realization” which is actually yours, and then you grow in complete dependence on this “teaching”. A lot of it are Anadi’s mental masturbations. It’s actually amazing whqt people will accept as the “map of consciousness”. It’s not an “evolved” teaching, and you won’t find an inkling of love here. Only a trap for years. Pour your own cup. Don’t give your power away to teachers, especially false teachers like Anadi. Everything you realized in those retreats came from within.
Thank you for your perspective, Theo. Indeed, the kingdom we seek is within us all.
I’m wondering why Gururatings only comments to the negative posts of A-Free and Theo and not to the positive experience of Rideforever…
(Corrected, current) link for Aziz his teachings from when he was starting out, before his teachings became extremely complicated and before the scandals started happening:

Fantastic. Thank you, Steven. That teaching is concise, digestible and full of wisdom. We particularly liked this, “Experiencing oneness is only accessible if one can also experience separation.” The seeming paradox of separation and unity consciousness has to be experienced to be known.
I was Aziz’s girlfriend shortly before he became “enlightened “. He was mysoginistic to the extreme. He once told me women couldn’t get enlightened because they have periods. He was a sex addict and used women ruthlessly. I kicked him out of my house when he started coming into my classes and setting himself up as a spiritual teacher. He is not and never will be enlightened. He was writing his first book on my computer and would have me look at it to edit. I argued with him constantly about his supposed enlightenment. He could not convince me. We met in the Osho ashram where he had become an Osho Sanyasin but this was after Osho had died, and he basically was copying Osho. He followed me to the Papaji group in Lucknow. He was not into Advaita Vedanta and I was. And to a teacher named Giridar. Papaji and Giridar both kicked him out siting his ego and he was really disrespectful towards them both. He then followed me to America. He was also really influenced by my former boyfriend and treated that guy who was also not enlightened as his teacher. They kind of egged each other on to declare themselves enlightened. I was super glad to get him out of my life. And not just being a bitter ex or something. I have another former boyfriend who has declared himself self-realized and that guy is real. Aziz really followed me around for a while even though I tried to shake him. I had a little bit bad taste in men for a while. lol. Now I’ve been happily married for 27 years.
Thank you for this account of your experiences with Aziz! Perhaps he has changed over the 27 years since you knew him? Maybe not. We know that tigers can’t change their stripes.
We have adjusted his rating down until we get more recent testimony about this guru.
